Back to work...

Yesterday was my first day back to work since I had little Jo jos.
For the past three months I have done nothing but devour every second I could with him and Maria.
Now it's back to reality and I have to go back to help replenish the bank accounts.
Work was good. I love being able to socialize. I am a true wan of the people and for the people. I thrive off of a morning cup of Jo, a passing, "morning" and catching up on the latest news in the office and in my coworkers lives.
About noon that afternoon while showing off a picture of little man it started to hit me. This wasn't just a field trip away. It was going to be our new normal. :(.
When I got home Joseph woke up shortly after I walked in the door. He has so much to say!!!! We must have coo'd together for over an hour. It made my heart feel better. It was as if it were his first day at "daddy school" and he couldn't wait to see me and tell me all about it. When Maria woke up she smiled greatly to see me. And then asked right away where daddy was. Lol. Not surprised since that girl is obsessed with every move her daddy makes

Something to note of importance: Chris put Maria's hair up for the first time!!!! This is a big deal since Chris about the last person on earth I owould ever imagine doing a little girls hair. But when it comes to his baby girl. I guess he'll do anything for her. :)

Special thanks to my hubby for sacrificing so much for our children and for my own peace of mind to stay home during the day and be with them and then heading off to work in the evenings. your love is awesome!

  1. Maria looks so big and Joseph's hair is fabulous! Good luck with the transition back to work. I know how rough that is. My husband stays home with our kids during the day, too, and that makes it easier on me, mentally.
